The nursery

A tour around the apartment is long due, so the excuse of having had to kind of redecorate the guest room into a nursery comes at the right time. Nosy readers or curious friends (who have asked for pics, pics, pics), here is the nursery, if I may pompously call it so; because, you see, living in a rented apartment has its perks, but also quite a few downsides and one of them is your fear of drilling holes, chipping paint or staining the (much hated) carpet you walk on daily.

For once though, the original setting and neutral colors fit me perfectly, not to mention that since we do not know if we are expecting a boy or a girl (not to mention too my aversion for all that cutsy pink and pale blue myth...) the cream, light grey and nutty shades work well together like a blank canvas that we should be able to modify and adapt to taste and needs once the baby lands in our (oh so warm right now) world.

Enough is said, let's just flip through the photo album here and say that white is my thing - obviously - and that animals, in one way or another, seem to have playfully taken the stand. In the evening, the soft prune flower and starfish lights shed a soft aura onto the furniture and make this a magic, albeit very simple, world. And that will perfectly do for now.
