It is a surprise birthday party that has been planned for months now. It is freezing cold outside, the sidewalk is a skating ring and romantic torches are burning along the entrance, bringing a touch of Christmas spirit and unique magic to the place.
The house is warm, teeming with friends who cruise between the lounge area, the TV room and the dining room, all redecorated for the occasion with tasteful touches of fresh flowers and candles. The window panes are cold to the touch and look onto the neighbors' lit up windows and Christmas trees.
The conversation is lively, hands are shaken, but soon everyone needs to be hushed because our dear friend is just coming out of the limo and going up the front stairs, confident that there will be no more surprises for the day, or so we would like to think...
