Georgie

Friends landed and smiled, right away. They had wishes about the perfect Parisian stay, bright ideas, numerous dreams, enough plans for ten years ahead and a million nights out and endless, sheer, fun.

What better opportunity to let go, forget the heavy working weeks and plunge head first into discovery mode in the Paris dazzle. After having spent months in the capital with only practical details to fix, light bulbs to change and dimmers to mount, a real break - finally. Hectic days started with brunches, cappuccinos - the homemade kind, no other - croissants and fresh red berries in pearl white yogurts. The bustling streets drawned in noise and colors while accents and words from all over the country and the world crowded our ears, made us dizzy with anticipatino and excitement of special shared moments.

Lunches and dinners at terraces and restaurants ensured an idillyc background to endless talks, jokes, anecdotes and friendly confessions. A pause here and there, newspaper in hands and china teacups on the wooden table where lilacs released heady perfumes from under their velvety and fleshy petals.

On the spur of the moment, the idea to start the night in a special, unique place a the heart of Paris, came up. Good company helped make the decision in the blink of a mascara laden eye and off we went, to the Georges V. Golden marbled floors, transparent vases and a sea of flowers and green leaves showered by dazzling lights from the chandeliers... A daydream come true while we were lead into the cocktail lounge covered in dark and shiny wood, warm and luxurious hues. Despite the overwhelming richness of textures and perfumes, the place showed a friendly and professional face - a friend at first sight. And a favorite nickname for precious memories to treasure with smiling friends: Georgie was born.

Long live Georgie!
