Fashion (transitional) pictures of the week

Transition, transitional... The words are everywhere to signify the end of all things summery and the beginning of the hazy in-between fall season, the bridge that is supposed to gap the two seasons, leaving warm waters and scorching suns behind, in the world of memories. To help us get there, I find this ad campaign paticulary inspiring; it could almost - almost - make me long for colder times, when the morning fog is still light and transparent and white puffs of air come out of the lady's mouth while she runs to her very own Breakfast at Tiffany's. The colors are soft, smoothened out by the all-important ingredient - fog - and the textures all rich to suggest cozyness, abundancy and luxury. The whole Fendi campaign follows the same successful pattern rich with classical details underlined by sharp lines that bring each snapshot into the future for a successful and intriguing final result.
